Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roland). They breezed past the Okmulgee Bulldogs to the tune of 37-0 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Rangers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Roland was led to victory by Paul Johnson and Alex Brant. Johnson gained 157 total yards and two touchdowns, while Brant threw for 192 yards and four TDs on only 12 passes. Johnson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 86-yard run. Trevor Lasiter was in the mix as well, providing Roland with one touchdown.

Roland's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Okmulgee, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Roland is set to square off against their familiar foe Kiefer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Okmulgee will take on rival Kingston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
