Upton/Sundance put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past Tongue River 53-14. That result was just more of the same for Upton/Sundance, who also won the last time these teams played.
Upton/Sundance started the game off right with 27 first-half points. Tongue River put up 14, so the score was 27-14 at the half. The Upton/Sundance defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. The victory bumped their record up to 4-0. Tongue River are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week Upton/Sundance take on Big Horn at 7:00 PM. Big Horn will need to watch out since Upton/Sundance have now posted big point totals in their last four contests. Tongue River will look to defend their home turf against Pine Bluffs at 6:00 PM.
