After losing to the Tallulah Falls Indians the last time they met, the Towns County Indians decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Towns County had just enough and edged Tallulah Falls out 48-45.
Towns County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaleigh Beaver out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. Scotlyn Fain was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Towns County's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tallulah Falls, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Towns County will take on Summit Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tallulah Falls, they will be playing at home against Stephens County at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th.
