Perhaps the best among those players was Kamari Brown, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for him. Michael Carbajal was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for El Dorado and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Empower College Prep, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Dorado won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mission Heights Prep at 6:30 p.m. on December 14th. Mission Heights Prep is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Empower College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Western SciTech at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Western SciTech is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
