Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Dunn Earwigs walked away with it. They came out on top against the Brahmas by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but Dunn sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Eric Aguilar Roig and
Isaac Bakwira, who scored all three of Dunn's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 35 so far this season.
Dunn is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-4 record this season. As for Diamond Bar, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-4.
Dunn will take on Knight at TBD on Friday. Diamond Bar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
