Baseball Game Preview: Loyola Academy Ramblers vs. St. Francis Spartans

The Loyola Academy Ramblers will face off against the St. Francis Spartans at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Loyola Academy blew Providence Catholic out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Providence Catholic got their revenge. The Ramblers fell just short of the Celtics by a score of 8-6.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Francis). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Leo a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Spartans, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Loyola Academy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for St. Francis, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 7-3.
