The Agua Dulce Longhorns will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Center Point Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Even though Agua Dulce has not done well against Bruni recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Agua Dulce walked away with a 41-30 win over Bruni.
Bryan King got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 236 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, Center Point can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Everything went their way against D'Hanis as Center Point made off with a 43-21 victory.
Agua Dulce pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-9 Kaufer and 3-7 Pettus (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 31.3% over those games). As for Center Point, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
