If North Duplin was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hobbton on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rebels lost 3-0 to the East Columbus Gators on Wednesday. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Maggie Brown paced North Duplin's offense, picking up ten kills. Brown got some help from Lilly Fulghum and her 20 assists. Carrly Strickland controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

North Duplin's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for East Columbus, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

As of now, neither North Duplin nor the Gators have any future games scheduled.
