Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Soquel Knights 83-38. One positive for the Spartans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Soquel, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Seaside will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Monterey at 12:30 p.m. on December 26th. Soquel has already played their next game, a 50-39 win against Enterprise on the 14th.
