Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds. On the bright side, the 44- point effort marked the Trojans' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wisconsin School for the Deaf, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf and Wisconsin School for the Deaf will both be playing Iowa School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Bobcats at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Firebirds will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
