Dexter put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the East Prairie Eagles to the tune of 50-16. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bearcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Leading Dexter to victory were Langston Wernneck and Will Guethle. Wernneck picked up 117 receiving yards and two scores, while Guethle threw for 192 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Dexter's record is now 4-0. As for East Prairie, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dexter will challenge Southern Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Prairie, they will face off against Kennett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
