The Guymon Tigers will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Boys Ranch Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
Guymon fell victim to Casady's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a 17-0 bruising from the Cyclones. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Guymon couldn't answer the 17 points Casady scored afterwards.
Meanwhile, Boys Ranch suffered a tough 34-12 defeat at the hands of Sunray two weeks ago. While losing is never fun, Boys Ranch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 1135th, while Sunray is ranked 482nd).
James Sully put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown.
The losses dropped Guymon to 4-4 and Boys Ranch to 2-6.
