The Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game on Tuesday as the odds are decidedly against them. They will be playing at home against the Southfield Christian Eagles. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Notre Dame Prep and Southfield will really light up the scoreboard.
The Fighting Irish were just a three-ball shy of a win on Tuesday and fell 74-72 to Lutheran North.
Meanwhile, Southfield took their matchup at home last week with ease, bagging an 81-24 victory over Oakland Christian. That looming 57-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Southfield yet this season.
Notre Dame Prep is now 5-12 while Southfield sits at 13-3. The Eagles are 11-1 after wins this year, and Notre Dame Prep is 5-6 after losses.
