They took down Clear Creek 65-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dickinson also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Qasim Boyd was a one-man wrecking crew for Dickinson as he scored 27 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The match was Boyd's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was David Chong, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Dickinson pushed their record up to 7-16 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Clear Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season.
Dickinson will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Clear Brook at 1:00 p.m. Clear Brook has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8. As for Clear Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Clear Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clear Falls will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 619th, while Clear Creek is ranked 309th).
