After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Salpointe Catholic, Walden Grove was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 69-9 victory over the Moon Valley Rockets. The Red Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 25 points or more this season.
Walden Grove got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maria-Isa Saez Pedraza out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine assists. Those nine assists gave Saez Pedraza a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Gamillo, who went 7-for-11 on her way to 14 points.
Saez Pedraza wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Walden Grove was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Moon Valley only posted two assists.
