The Limon Badgers will venture away from home to  challenge the Simla Cubs  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Simla took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Limon, who comes in off a win.
Limon is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Crowley County  on Saturday. Limon walked away with  a   12-7  win over Crowley County. The Badgers haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.
  Brody Scherrer was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while going 3-for-5. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Logan Haflich, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Simla came up short against Akron on Saturday and fell  8-4.
 Simla saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Wyatt Stanko, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Treven Kocerha was another,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Simla's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Limon, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
 Everything went Limon's way against Simla in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024, as Limon made off with  a  12-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Limon since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
