 In other batting news,  Madison Braren and  Anna Maiale did most of the damage at the plate:  Braren  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  run, while  Maiale  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base. Those  three  runs gave  Maiale a new career-high.  Ava McGinnis was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 New Paltz  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They are 8-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 New Paltz is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season.
