Calipatria fell victim to Holtville's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. Their rough 7-0 loss to the Vikings might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Calipatria in their matchups with Holtville: they've now lost nine in a row.
Julian's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Calipatria, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
