Brayden Myovela Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Maize got the W thanks in part to Brayden Myovela playing the best football he has all season. Myovela rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Maize's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. Myovela and Maize will face off against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Arieus Finley Turns in Another Game with at Least 116 Rushing Yards
Arieus Finley produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Derby to the win on Friday. Finley's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 116 rushing yards.
The victory for Derby keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Finley and Derby will host Maize South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
