Dante Saladino made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Kennedy Catholic is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise. Saladino was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Harvey Lieberman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
