There's no place like home for Centennial, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past the Cleburne Yellowjackets 16-14. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won seven in a row.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Cleburne, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Cleburne will both be playing Midlothian the next time they take the field. The Yellowjackets will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
