The Booker T. Washington Warriors lost against the Hamilton Wildcats back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Booker T. Washington took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hamilton.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was LeAnna Carpenter, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Cariyonna Banks, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Booker T. Washington's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Hamilton, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Booker T. Washington will face off against Manassas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Memphis Business Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Memphis Business Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Hamilton likes a good challenge.
