After losing to the Spring Valley Vikings the last time they met, the Clover Blue Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Clover took down Spring Valley 63-47 on Wednesday.
Jaylon Hoover was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Galeota, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Clover pushed their record up to 10-8 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.33 points. As for Spring Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Clover will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Mill at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Fort Mill's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matches. As for Spring Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Nation Ford at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Nation Ford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Tuesday.
