Baseball Recap: Lafayette Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Lafayette had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand CSI International Studies an 11-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for CSI International Studies, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette will head out to take on Port Richmond at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for CSI International Studies, they will venture away from home to face off against Telecommunication Arts Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellowjackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.33 runs per game on average), something CSI International Studies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
