Cameron County is 0-3 against Brockway since September of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Cameron County Raiders will look to defend their home field against the Brockway Rovers at 7:00 p.m. Cameron County will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Cameron County can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley at home to the tune of 38-8. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.
Cameron County found their leader in underclassman Malakai Zucal, who rushed for 230 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Maddox Baughman, who rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Brockway unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 52-28 walloping at the hands of Redbank Valley. While losing is never fun, Brockway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 299th, while Redbank Valley is ranked 95th).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Brayden Fox, who threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Pisarcik, who gained 137 total yards and two touchdowns.
Cameron County's victory lifted them to 7-2 while Brockway's loss dropped them down to 6-3.
Cameron County was taken down by Brockway 35-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Will Cameron County have more luck at home instead of on the road?
