Softball Recap: Giddings Wins Going Away Against Rudder

While Giddings put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Rudder. Everything went the Giddings Buffaloes' way against the Rudder Rangers as the Giddings Buffaloes made off with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Buffaloes have won four games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Giddings now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Rudder, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Giddings will challenge Navasota at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Navasota has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Rudder, they will take on Lake Creek at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Creek will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Rudder surely won't give up without a fight.
