Shining Light Academy kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They received a blow as they fell 70-52 to the High Point Christian Academy Cougars. Shining Light Academy has already played their next game, a 65-20 victory against Community Baptist on the 13th. As for High Point Christian Academy, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against New Garden Friends at 6:30 p.m. on the 20th.
