Hillsboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
Hillsboro's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Perryville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
