They were the clear victor by a 48-28 margin over Big Piney. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Rich has posted since December 1, 2023.
Rich's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braylyn Pugmire, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Violett Taylor, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Rich pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Big Piney, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Rich won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Manila at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Manila is ranked 62nd, while Rich is ranked 43rd). As for Big Piney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Farson-Eden at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
