Harmony School of Excellence gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 69-40 victory over Dilley at home.
Meanwhile, Falfurrias put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They slipped by King 55-54.
Falfurrias' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Esparza, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Quisto Sanchez, who scored 13 points.
Harmony School of Excellence's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Falfurrias, they have yet to lose a contest on the road this season, leaving them with a 5-0 record.
