Huntsville faced Hartselle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Kennedy Moss paced Huntsville's offense, picking up nine kills. Moss got some help from Charlotte Krichev and her 13 assists. Lacey Hollis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Taylor Reaviel was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 14 digs and one assist.

Huntsville's loss dropped their record down to 32-7. As for Hartselle, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-10 record this season.
