After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Currituck County, Granby was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Churchland Truckers with a sharp 12-4 win. Considering the Comets have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aerabella H was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Rodgers, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Granby's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Churchland, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Granby is set to take on their familiar foe Norview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Churchland will square off against rival Norcom at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
