Johnathan Schroeder Delivers Best Performance of Season
Oxford was led to victory by Johnathan Schroeder, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Schroeder rushed for 188 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Schroeder and Oxford will face off against Udall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Eagles, probably because Schroeder had a solid game then too: he rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
