In other batting news, Samone Burdine made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Ainsley Martin was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Itawamba Agricultural's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Amory, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
