For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Dover and Merrimack meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Green Wave came out on top against the Tomahawks by a score of 7-2. For the Green Wave, this counts as revenge for the 5-0 victory the Tomahawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Dover's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Merrimack, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover will take on rival Spaulding at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Merrimack is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop Guertin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
