The Thatcher Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 47-31 to Coolidge. Thatcher lost against Coolidge in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 47-36 score last time.
It was another big night for Alaysia White, who dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 steals for Coolidge. That makes it two consecutive games in which White has scored at least 25% of Coolidge's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Rodgers, who scored 13 points.
Thatcher has fallen quite a ways from their 19-7 record last season and are now at 0-3. As for Coolidge, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Thatcher will head out on the road to face off against Buena at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Coolidge, they will be playing at home against Cienega at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
