Harmony Grove extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 10-5 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Jessieville Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cardinals have posted since March 7th.

As for Jessieville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

For Jessieville's part, Jayden Meredith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Jonah Martin also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
