Volleyball Recap: Keller Has No Trouble Against Timber Creek

Keller won the last time they faced Timber Creek and things went their way on Friday too. The Indians were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

While Keller won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-22, 25-17.

Addison Wilcox and Lillian Day certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Wilcox had 14 digs and one assist, while Day had five digs and two aces. Wilcox has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last 11 times she's played. Kaylee Wilcox also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Keller's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Timber Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Keller and Timber Creek will both be playing V.R. Eaton the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Indians will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
