Villanova Prep's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Day, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals. Carlos Maida was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Villanova Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Hillcrest Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
