The losing side was boosted by Jeremiah Bullingor, who rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns.

Ballinger's loss came about despite a quality game from Zach Canada, who rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown. Canada was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Manny Gonzalez, who picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown.
San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Ballinger, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8.
San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Ballinger in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, winning 34-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around.
