William Ashley, II continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Macedonian Christian, scoring 27 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Ashley, II continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Gonzalez, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
IDEA Quest College Prep's defeat ended a 21-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-5. As for Macedonian Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. IDEA Quest College Prep will stay at home for another game and welcome Idea Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Idea Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Macedonian Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Juan Diego Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Juan Diego Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
