Uintah has gone 8-2 against Orem recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Uintah will look to defend their home field against Orem at 3:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Uintah put up the most points they have all season on Tuesday. They blew past Provo 18-2. The win was familiar territory for the Utes, who have now won four matches in a row.

Kayla Olson was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lynlee Hall, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Uintah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Orem was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Wasatch by a score of 10-6.
Kiley Hoshnic spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Sadie Groneman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cheyanne Wells, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Uintah pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Orem, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Uintah has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .450. However, it's not like Orem struggles in that department as they've averaged .477. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Uintah might still be hurting after the 9-3 loss they got from Orem when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Uintah avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
