Millsap is a perfect 10-0 against Dublin since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Millsap has three straight wins, Dublin has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Thursday, Millsap got the win against Early by a conclusive 16-3. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.
Carson Crouch was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Brandon Savage was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Millsap is 2-1 when Savage posts one or more home runs, but 9-10 otherwise. Miles Griffin was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Millsap kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Dublin's offense. They came up short against Tolar on Thursday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
The victory got Millsap back to even at 11-11. As for Dublin, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
Everything went Millsap's way against Dublin in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Millsap made off with a 9-0 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
