Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Millard West to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cooper Fortune, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Carson, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Millard West's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Fremont, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Millard West will head out on the road to face off against Elkhorn South at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Elkhorn South and Millard West are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Fremont, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gretna East at 7:30 p.m.
