Mayfield won the last time they faced Alamogordo and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Mayfield was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-27, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Mckenna Linnan and Madison Martinez, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Isobella Munker and her 22 assists. Sophia Thompson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mayfield's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Alamogordo, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with the loss, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mayfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Gadsden on the 4th. As for Alamogordo, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Las Cruces on the 4th.
