The Edgewood Red Wolves had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 49-39 to Brevard Christian on Tuesday.
When it comes to explaining why Edgewood lost, one person who can't be blamed is Corbin Snyder. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Ruiz, who scored 9 points.
Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Brevard Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Edgewood will head out on the road to face off against St. Cloud at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully St. Cloud focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday. As for Brevard Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Calvary Chapel Academy at 6:00 p.m.
