While Rio Grande City might've come up empty on Friday, Deandre Rodriguez wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Rodriguez as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Rodriguez and Rio Grande City will take on Juarez-Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
