They really took it to South Vermillion for the full four quarters, racking up a 47-10 win at home. The team accrued 38 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
North Vermillion found their leader in underclassman Cadence Dunham, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Kera Dunham, who scored eight points.
North Vermillion has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season. As for South Vermillion, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-20.
North Vermillion won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Covington at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. As for South Vermillion, they will head out on the road to square off against Riverton Parke at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
