The Providence Christian Academy Griffins's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past Harford Christian with points to spare, taking the game 53-39. This was payback for Providence Christian Academy, who suffered a 70-37 loss the last time these two teams met.
Bryce Unruh was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Providence Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Keller, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Providence Christian Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Harford Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Providence Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Towle Institute at 5:30 p.m. on January 12th. Harford Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Arlington Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
