The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Caldwell 53-21 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-12.
Cedar Vale/Dexter was led to victory by Eislee Boatman and Zoe Davidson. Boatman scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Davidson dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Boatman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Edee Boatman, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Cedar Vale/Dexter pushed their record up to 7-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Caldwell, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Vale/Dexter on the road again on Friday and play against Oxford at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Caldwell, they will face off against Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
